Horrible customer practices

I ordered aquarium plants which were never received. Cannot contact customer service and no response to emails. DO NOT BOTHER with this company. I wasted $35.

This is my experience at the Pets Warehouse in Carle Place on 177 Glen Cove Road. I purchased a 10 gallon aquarium tank set up with wood stand. Spent $184.64. The heater was not heating the water properly. I bring it back and they refused to exchange or refund. What the heck? "Karen" told me to contact the manufacturer. Wow..... If this was my business, I would simply give a new heater off the shelf. It's literally a $15 dollar cost. If that. Now, I will never come back and just go to the Petco next door. So dumb.

Very poor customer service the manager…

Very poor customer service the manager there is very immature and has no business ethics and does not know how to handle any kind of situation or respect a lot of young people working there and nobody supervising I've been shopping there for years recently I bought for fish from there one of them was a catfish for $30 when I brought home that they put in a tank 3 hours later it died I called the place and left an message on the answering machine told them I just bought the fish and it died 3 hours later left in my name phone number the following that I never heard from them so I called them they told me to bring my receipt sample of the water and I brought the carcass of the fish since I had to wait a day I went to Petco after getting off the phone with them Petco testing my water and told me my work to respond the following day I went to Pet Warehouse like they told me to and like I said I brought the sample of the water receipt and the carcass of the fish Pet Warehouse told me my nitrates are high and that's why my fish died so they were not going to give me a refund the day after that I went to PetSmart and PetSmart also told me about water was fine so that tells you the well Pet Warehouse handles a situation is by lying to their customers I don't know about you people out there but I like knowing the truth and a while ago another incident happened there one day I went and purchased a few items I asked them for 20 feeder fish well they give you your fish they bring it to the counter for you they bag it and when I got home I took the stuff out of the shopping bag instead of 20 feeder fish they gave me $20 a feeder fish first I noticed it on the receipt dinosaur in the bag so I went back to tell them and the manager was very unprofessional about that too and also it says I know people make mistakes by wanted my money back what's a person going to do with $20 worth of fear fish for a 75 gallon tank the store owner really needs to clean up his store that bear management maybe a babysitter for the young children that work there however I will not lie that you have a great selection of fish they just have to learn better business ethics if that's George's not Shape Up they're going to just lose more and more customers

I ordered two different times never…

I ordered two different times never received a thing!!! Try to call voicemail full !!! Emailed heard nothing!!! Oder numbers 63317 and 63418. . Took money and if don’t have in stock need to repay!!!

Accepts order and charges card for items not in stock… but got fefund

UPDATED They did refund my cc so I just wanted to be fair.
Website apparently shows merchandise in stock when it apparently is not.
They charge your card, then email next day informing of the fact they cannot ship item in timely manner.
I emailed to cxl, they said no problem, but based on other reviews I will be following closely to make sure the charge is removed from my credit card.
Like others have said I will never use this company again.

Item came broke

Item came broke, then for return I got to pay delivery and wait for another 3 weeks, never use them again.

Scam

First and last order, all the items were just overpriced and for out of stock items I was charged but never received nor refunded.

Buyer beware

Buyer beware. Horrible experience dealing with this company. I will never use them again. I can’t imagine them being around much longer.

Pets Warehouse has been the most awful…

Pets Warehouse has been the most awful retailer that I have ever dealt with. I placed an order on August 19 and they immediately had a pending charge on my account for payment. Shortly after that I received two email updates that contradicted each other. After several weeks I finally got through to a person on the phone who apologized for the delay saying that it was a manufacturer delay. About a week and a half later I received another email stating exactly what she told me that it would be 3-15 days until they had the items. I have been trying to contact them ever since and have yet to receive an answer or reach a live person.
I will never do business with this company again and will tell anyone who will listen to stay away from this company.

Finally got results....FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION

I had the same experience as many others on this site. I attempted to contact them via email, which is the only option they provide. After no reply I titled my email "FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION". Amazingly I received a response within an hour. After a few sarcastic responses and eventually being banned from any further orders they sent an email receipt for a refund. Of course, after 5 days I still hadn't received my refund so I followed through with the FTC complaint. Within 2 hours I had a legitimate FULL refund receipt with a transaction ID, which posted to my credit card today. Hope this helps those who still have not received their order or refund.

Ordered dog food

Ordered dog food, was told no charge would be put on my credit card until shipment, no product received, they do not answer their phone, they do not respond to emails and do acknowledge the form on their website that I filled out. I have filed a complaint with my credit card company and the BBB. Very shady company.
